Return Policy – Joy&Paddling
Right of Withdrawal (14 days)
As a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order, in accordance with the Norwegian Right of Withdrawal Act (angrerettloven). No reason is required.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, please contact us by email before the deadline expires. We will send you a withdrawal form or confirm receipt of your request.
Condition of Returned Items
Items must be returned in substantially the same condition and quantity as when received. You may inspect the product as you would in a physical store, but the item must not have been used in a way that significantly reduces its value. For paddling and kayak equipment, this means the gear must not have been used on water.
Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply to:
- Items made to your specifications or clearly personalised
- Sealed goods for health or hygiene reasons that have been opened after delivery (e.g. certain personal protective equipment)
Return Shipping
The customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective or incorrectly sent. We recommend using tracked shipping, as we cannot be held responsible for items lost in transit.
Refunds
Once we have received and inspected the returned item, we will refund the purchase amount within 14 days. The refund will be issued via the same payment method used at the time of purchase.
Warranty & Complaints
If you discover a defect or fault with your item, you have the right to make a complaint for up to 2 years after purchase, in accordance with the Norwegian Consumer Purchases Act (forbrukerkjøpsloven). Please contact us as soon as possible and we will find a good solution.
